"This is my favorite restaurant. My husband and I love going here. And Rachel is our most favorite waitress in all of Austin! She has the best recommendations and is so kind and fun. Ask for Rachel in the bar if you go, she will take the best care of you. So grateful she brought Au Gratin potatoes into our lives! Oysters are the BEST here. Highly recommend!!"
"I struck up a conversation with a lady at another restaurant and we had so much in common, she invited me to join her at Eddie V’s. Although I didn’t feel dressed up (sweatshirt and jeans) I decided to go. My new friend never showed up, but I stayed anyway. Let’s start with Daniel, working behind the bar. He made me feel like we were best friends, enjoying a glass of wine together (no he wasn’t drinking). I truly felt special. There are very few places that make you feel like you are a somebody. At Daniel’s recommendation, I had a variety of oysters that were out of this world! Then while I was just sitting, enjoying my wine, and basketball, out came this dessert…he lit it and it was the most beautiful thing. I didn’t feel like he felt sorry for me since my dinner partner didn’t show up, instead it made me feel like he was celebrating that I came in on my own. Thank you Daniel for the most spectacular evening! I will be back, I will suggest this restaurant to everyone, and I will call to make sure Daniel is there whenever I come on my own or with a friend that wants to experience a casual night out at the bar. I wish I could give Eddie V’s stars!"
"We went last week to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. Our table was decorated with fresh rose petals and two cards that included well wishes from the staff. It was such a sweet, nice touch! In addition, our server Rachel, was so nice and sweet. She went out of her way to make the evening special! Great food and service! Kudos!"
"I went here for my wedding anniversary dinner, and there food never disappoints. Plus they made an effort to decorate the table since I had mentioned that we were celebrating. They have multiple locations in different states , there food is ALWAYS good."
