"I haven't been to a Durham Public Library branch that I didn't like yet! At East Regional, they're always staffed and eager to help. PLUS i was just told that DPL made fines a thing of the past! What?! They automatically renewed my books for me! My kids love the reading spaces they set up just for little people and the activities schedule is always packed"

They had the book pulled at the desk, and knew his name when we walked in. We are so lucky to have such wonderful, caring people in the Durham library system."

"This cubby black lady at the desk was on the phone taking a personal call with the library’s phone. We stood there for a good 2 minutes. She said to the phone person hold on I have a customer waiting and then said to us. There’s self check out over there and looked annoyed that we went to her in middle of the phone call! We took that rude and my grandma was upset because she was rude to her! She needs to be fired or watched because she just want to talk on the phone not do her job! Overall we love the library friendly people except her and clean also Organized!"
