Despite the negative reviews I decided to send my daughter to divine health academy for the CNA program. Overall she had a wonderful experience. The front desk lady Jasmine was very helpful and kind, answered all my questions pertaining to the program even worked out a payment plan to help me out. I would recommend this place for the price they are charging.

If I could give this place a zero I would, but zero was not an option my first day of class was November 1 through the 30th it was a four week class, I made an 80 on my final exam, my Final class average was a 72, in order to pass the class you had to make a 78 or higher the owner Miss Doris told me to come and see her Monday and she would be here all day Monday & we would talk about what I could do to continue on with the class I came at 5:45 today she wasn’t even here I’ve been calling ,texting I even left her a voicemail asking if she could please call me back , When they want their money they steady calling they call me two times last week telling me that I need to pay my money before Friday, she’s seen my messages and left me on read & has been ignoring me for days I paid my money early because Miss Doris said the money was due last Friday so I pay my money last Friday, she said that she will reach back out to me the Night or the next day and I haven’t heard back from her s...

Good hearted people . It's not perfect but work with them and they will work with you. They are very accommodating as far as class times. The courses do go at a fast phase so if you don't study and pass your test you will not move on and waste your money.

Disclaimer, I have NO issues with the instructor Ms. Grant she is wonderful and a great teacher and has inspired me to look into the educational part of my nursing career. On the other hand If I could rate the Administration a ZERO I would. At first, my other CNA review class got canceled do to covid, which lead me no chose but to register with divine health academy. I was very clear with every person I have spoke with that I only wanted a review class NOT a CNA1 class. The secretary at the time said "yes we offer the review session and it will be $325 and the test is include" This is how they reel people in, they tell you what you want to hear just so they can make the money. I did not find out until in the middle in the class that it wasn't a review class. I called the school the next morning and they fought with me and said that I WAS in the right place and they took FULL advantage of me because they KNEW I needed the training. That's not even the half of it, I had to shell out an...

Mrs. Grant and Mrs. Rose were great kind teachers for the CNA I class. But the school as a whole is very unorganized. I took their CPR class and was supposed to receive my card within a week. It has been almost a month and I haven't received anything yet despite calling to remind them. Our information was supposed to be sent to the state to take our exams. It was been almost a month since the class ended and when I called them they said they were still getting our paperwork situated. I understand that COVID-19 is slowing things down but they should not promised deadlines they could not meet. The facility is also dirty and dusty and often lacked basics such as toilet paper and paper towels in the restrooms.

That's not even the half of it, I had to shell out another $+ to pay for the full course that I DIDN"T ask for and also got told that I have to pay for the board test separately when I've been told it was inclusive. After I paid the money and finished the course, the secretary told me the turnaround time would be hours. Still to this day, nothing has been uploaded and im still trying to schedule my test. I really hope that they see this and realize I was NOT the only one with issues with this school. God bless yall's hearts."
