First time to the new location and it was all still great. Much larger, still plenty of tvs to watch the game or whatever. Prices are still very reasonable and tastes just as good as before. Service still friendly as always. Last but not least, it's been a long time, but I had a slice of their Royal Thai Cake. One of my all-time favs...fans... Laotian food and prices.

Ive been coming here for almost 10 years now and the food and service is always spot on!! It's a "make a reservation" type of place on the weekends. Only thing I can hit on is the New location needs some love, feels a bit bland, from the menus to the decor/layout. Slacking on that TRUE Deck Hands touch.

The best by far SEAFOOD IVE HAD IN A WHILE IN AUSTIN!!!! I’ve always like there food but, the space was just to small. But, they came BACK CORRECT. Very nice establishment bright lights, bigger tables, just need some cushions in the chairs and branch. Everything was on point front the oyster to the shrimp fried rice, and the catfish combo….. we went on a Saturday afternoon the perfect time to go. U won’t be disappointed like some of these high end restaurants. Thanks for expanding the restaurant looks beautiful.

Deckhand did not disappoint! Brand new building also and it looks great. We went during their soft opening and the staff worked very hard to level set there may be delays as they figure everything out and they took great care of us. We got the ‘Salt and Pepper Calamari’ as an appetizer. I had the ‘Salmon Wrap’ and my wife had the ‘Crying Phoenix’ w/shrimp. Everything turned out great! We’re repeat customers and will definitely be back! 5 stars!

The oysters are as big as my fist! So meaty and juicy and refreshing for summer with some cool beer to pair. Great for afternoon lunch when it's not too crowded! I hear this place is packed for dinner. The crawfish is so fresh! Scrumptious and the perfect mild-spicy consistency. The gumbo was good too. We didn't try the Thai food but I think this place is astounding for the boil and seafood here. I keep thinking about those oysters! Go before season ends.
