"This store is awesome even the dude in the cashier is awesome when I first came here he treated you like a friend. He let me go through all the cards he had in his binders, this is a place I'd be all day, he brought back my childhood cards."

"Very down-to-earth family-run shop and one of the best places I've found so far in the city for trading cards. They've got binders upon binders available to flip thru. Also great selection of boosters and sealed boxes at very reasonable prices. For card singles, the prices are a bit on the higher side, but they're always willing to shave a few dollars off here and there to make a sale and the selection really is impressive. Can get crowded though because it's a small shop."

"DaShop is Dabest! This has to be one of the only living trading card stores in all of NYC. I'm an avid comic book and card collector (yugioh, & pokemon). DaShop has great prices and has more than just pokemon cards. Dashop has Magik, yugioh, pokemon, toys, marvel cards, gundum models and more. The manager/owner is very hospitable and is knowledgeable of his inventory. Will be bring more friends back to visit. God bless you bro and keep DaShop open!!!! Peace."

"Awesome little place to find some hidden gems for cards to model kits. I personally went looking for Gundams to see if they had anything that was discontinued or sold out online due to the holidays. They did have a few PG and MG that were sold out online that I had some interest in, but they’re a little pricey compared to their online competitors. I would say their Gundams were around % the cost of buying them online, but they also are a small shop in New York and have to pay the rent. I didn’t end up buying anything because I didn’t expect to spend that much more for the Gundams, but I will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases."

"Don't get the positive reviews concerning models here. Selection range is okay~meh depending on when you go but most prices are atrocious because they're equal to base price+shipping+tax, which is ridiculous for an offline shop. I took a look around and can't believe they're selling HG models for ~ when you can get the same one for ~ in Midtown Comics or Gundam Planet. In other words only worth visiting if you need something immediately or if you can't find a properly priced one online, and even then you won't find the one you want."
