Would give 0 stars if possible, Cox use to be a respectable ISP. Depending where you live this will be hit or miss and there is no way of knowing until it is too late. Cox holds monopoly on customers...

hands down, without a doubt, the WORST company I have ever dealt with in the last years of my life. If there's another option for your internet and tv I strongly suggest you go with that option. Li...

They know they have a monopoly on ISP so they can treat the customer however they want. If you have another option go there, even if its a smaller ISP better to give them your money.

"Would give 0 stars if possible, Cox use to be a respectable ISP. Depending where you live this will be hit or miss and there is no way of knowing until it is too late. Cox holds monopoly on customers in a lot of areas because of this they do not have to prioritize customers. I have hands down had the worst internet experience ever. Cannot get a good connection on a wired ethernet connection in the middle of the San diego where internet should be great. Have had 7 or so people from cox come out to help but information is never communicated so the process is always started over and over again with no progress made. At this point I give up and would have switched long ago If I had the option. Remember to report Cox to the FCC when they abuse customers like this."

"First off, please feel free to read my reviews as I almost NEVER write a negative review, which make this review pretty legit. Long story short; I have been a loyal COX customer ins Mission Viejo for well over years now. I don't think I have ever complained to them. So, about a month ago, I wanted to get the gigablast speed so I called COX and they told me I needed a new modem. I bought a new modem and mesh system, installed it and upgraded to the new service only to see my internet speed slow down. I called to have someone come out to figure out what was going on. First, the lady upsells me the insurance plan for additional a month. Sure, no problem. Next, we set an appointment for yesterday between . I make arrangements to make sure we are there and yesterday morning I get a text to confirm my appointment. Appointment confirmed. Short version later.... At 5: (approx) we get a text that our appointment is cancelled. I IMMEDIATELY call to find out what happened. The rep says he knocked/rang the door bell and no one answered. LIE!!! I have a Ring and complete camera system around my house AND my son was skateboarding out front. No one showed up. Two dropped (probably hung up) calls later they apologize and say they can't get someone there. Best I can do is call today and ask for the "Un-care" center so I called and, of course, had to repeat the entire story twice and got the typical, short and sweet I'm sorry. I told them I had been a customer without a single complaint for over years and I guess I need to cancel service. He immediately said okay and told me what I needed to return. I scheduled it out for days from now so I can figure out who I was going to. It is % incredible that COX thinks that my account is not important to them. Worst experience ever in my years of life!"

"hands down, without a doubt, the WORST company I have ever dealt with in the last years of my life. If there's another option for your internet and tv I strongly suggest you go with that option. Literally the worst experience dealing with a company in my life."

"While a solid vendor to our business for several years, terminating service to move to new office has been a nightmare. They didn't come and collect equipment and continued to charge us monthly fees despite termination of service notices from us. Now they send to collections!! They have not returned phone calls to resolve. Unethical to say the least, and we now we have no choice than to explore legal action based on damage to our credit rating."
