Coffee is always Delicious! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Picked up some floral arrangements for Valentine's Day and was not disappointed! My Lady Loved 💜 them!

Usually communal coffee is an exceptional experience. This review is specific to the salmon sandwich - they recently decided to stop putting sliced cured salmon on the sandwich and are now using a salmon spread which decidedly is not worth $12 as it has such a minor salmon presence you can't even taste it. Skip this if you're looking for proper lox.

Communal Coffee is one of the best coffee shop experiences that San Diego has to offer. Not only is their coffee delicious, but they also serve up small bites and alcoholic drinks here too. The atmosphere is bright and airy and there is plenty of seating, making it a great place to work or study. Plus, the in-house flower shop and selection of jewelry, books, candles, and cards among other things make it a great place for gift shopping as well.

Sweet Mint Cold Brew… Sausage Maple Sandwich… what an experience. I never had cold brew and mint but this combo is so refreshing and not overly sweet. The maple syrup from the sandwich was a good pairing. The coffee shop is also cool as there is a whole store in it with a spot to buy wine. 10/10 for aesthetics and food!
