Took the Level 1 and Level 2 classes after seeing a few shows. Easily one of the best experiences I've ever had! I've learned so much about the art of improv, performing, and myself with these classes. It's my weekly dose of laughter being the best medicine. You'll be hard-pressed to meet a better and funnier group of people!

I just finished level 2 and the student show here and I can’t recommend starting with level one (or even just swing a show) enough! The classes had challenged me and taught me lessons that I could take back into my personal life. I made new friends and can’t count the laughs that came with it. My teacher for levels 1 and 2 was Kevin and he is kind, supportive, a gifted teacher, and ridiculously hilarious.

After 2020 and the beginning of 2021, I wasn't sure there was anything that could brighten my days. That all changed the day I started taking classes at CATCh. Even though I started out absolutely terrified and never thought I could do improv, it has turned into one of my very favorite things. Every time I leave class, I leave with a huge smile on my face and with so much energy it's hard to fall asleep. It's that fun. I've also learned so many valuable skills that I use in my corporate job every day. This is better than any public speaking course or team building exercise I've been through. The confidence you learn is unmatched. If you're scared like I was, don't worry. The teachers at CATCh lead with empathy and compassion. They have created a safe place that is inclusive and not cutthroat at all. I've met so many cool new friends. And those are just the classes! CATCh is a special theater. The weekend shows are excellent. I just completed the level 1 class and I am so glad I decided to enroll. The instructor, Kevin, created a safe and supportive space in which we learned both improv as well as personal development skills. Oh and most importantly, I had fun! I would encourage anyone with any interest in performance and/or personal growth to give this place a shot.

Another plus- the theater is a quick walk from popular spots like Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and Queen Park Social, if you want to grab pre or post drinks! Hope to see you soon at CATCh!"
