I've had two horrible experiences with this hospital. One was a while back when I had horrible gout in my knee. The person I saw barely looked at it and offered me Tylenol with Codeine. Went straight from there to a different hospital where it was diagnosed with gout, and I got a proper treatment plan. The second was my wife tearing her back muscles. We went to an urgent care that suggested going to an ER, so we went to this horrible hospital. They treated her like a junkie and took none of it seriously. The doctor must have not even looked at the mri, because the next day when we saw her primary physician it was mentioned that it showed ON THE MRI that she had tears in her back muscles. Nobody at this pathetic excuse for a hospital puts an ounce of effort into their jobs or treating their patients properly. If I got run over by an 18 wheeler in their parking lot, I would attempt to crawl to a different hospital.

One of the best hospitals I've ever been to. My husband was the patient and we were highly impressed, with the Doctors, the care he received and the hospital itself. Would love to be able to leave just a review for one special Nurse but all I know is his first name is Chris and he works on the 1st floor helping hip and joint care patients. My husband had a hip replacement surgery this weekend and Chris was his night nurse. He received the most excellent care and consideration from Chris, today is Monday and we are still talking about Chris! How intelligent and caring with a wonderful attitude towards patients. He was by far the best Nurse we had. I wish we had gotten his last name but it was the first night and things were hectic. But he was wonderful and the hospital was too. My husband received excellent care.

No communication at all. They kept sending in different nurses and did not perform a proper turnover, if one at all. Nobody knew if we were on an NPO or not! They didn't even know why my grandfather was still in the hospital! Giving us attitude because we asked what's going on? Why is he still here? Is there something we should know? The doctor came once out of the whole 7 days so far to talk for 2 minutes. The rooms are not properly cleaned at all. The bed my grandfather was on didn't even work! The nurses check on him once every 3 hours. Thank God nothing serious has happened to him here. NOBODY would've known. They need to implement a battle rhythm so they know what they need to do day by day. I am definitely not taking anyone here after these ridiculous operating procedures. Do better for everyone.

I had surgery at this location almost 2 weeks ago and was NEVER contacted by Case Management to set up my home therapy after major neck surgery. I called constantly after discharge for Bethany who was the Case Manager assigned, left several messages and to this date have yet to be contacted by her. I called my physicians office and I was assured orders had been sent. This is so unacceptable from a Hospital. I searched Google and U-Tube on what therapy I could do at home. If anyone is planning on surgery at this facility and will need home care, I suggest u set it up prior to your surgery through your Physicians office and do not put your health/life in the hands of the Case Management Department. I will be writing letters to Department Management as well as CEO and Media. I’m thankful I didn’t have hip or knee surgery and needed immediate therapy. Imagine the outcome of that! I wonder if I had been a family member of a Case Management team member would the outcome been different……..DMa...

My father in law is in the hospital following a six hour surgery. He cannot get the staff to assist with his personal care needs. What he is receiving is not care. It is neglect and a violation of his federal patient rights. Santa Rosa makes it impossible to find any help beyond the nursing staff. Is anyone in charge? Does anyone care? Quality can’t be measured if it is nonexistent. Shame on this hospital, it’s leadership and staff.
