Here are some reviews from our users.
"Lady who was helping us, midway went to help another group. We ended up standing around, waiting for her. But she did not adjust our start time, hence making us having to pay for extra mins, as we were late by mins! If I knew, I would have stayed another mins to live up to the extra charge (they charge by every half hour). Other than feeling cheated, the experience of the kayak was wonderful. My advice, ask to "SEE" what the lady wrote as the start time."
"It gets crowded on the weekends so I opted to go during the week in the late morning. Perfect time to go. The woman working there was so helpful and nice. Wish everyone who worked with kayakers (at other recreational boating locations) was like her. Safety is taken seriously which is appreciated (i.e., they ensure people take the right boating equipment based on their experience and abilities. Life vests are provided). I hadn’t kayaked in years and wasn’t sure I’d be able to do it again but the water was beautiful, calm and scenic. $ for minutes, cash. Parking in the lot is limited but there is street parking."
"If your looking to kayak, paddle board, or windsurf without breaking the bank, then this place is for you. dollars for mins is well worth it. The staff members are very friendly. The water was very calm when I went. It's a decent size water area surrounded by a park and apartments. Great way to spend an hour or 2 for a day."
"Got there when it first opened at : and waited over an hour to find out they are out of Kayaks. People in line without proper social distancing of 6 feet."
"Good prices, but poor experience on a weekend. The line of people can take an hour to get through, and then you are limited by what they have available. I think they would greatly benefit from an online pre-paid reservation system. All that being said, staff was very friendly and we had a good time once we got out on the water (rented stand up paddleboards)."
