"California Comfort provided the transportation for our daughter’s wedding on July , . Their driver Carol, who is both pleasant and professional, delivered the participants to the wedding venue on time and returned late in the evening to return them to the hotel where they were staying. She even made an extra round trip ahead of schedule to take a single elderly passenger back to the hotel. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from California Comfort."
"WORST EXPERIENCE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I reached out to John, the owner, in May for a wine tour we wanted to schedule for August, th . I paid the 4 hour deposit, he said they could plan the wineries or I could create a list of wineries we wanted to go to. I opted for the latter and gave him 3 wineries we wanted to visit. I then emailed him a week later to confirm the wineries that I chose would work for this tour, which he confirmed they will work. The day of, I called him 5 minutes after the tour was scheduled to start because the van still hadn’t shown up. He said he didn’t have anything on his schedule. He apologized, but said that usually the customer will call and confirm the booking. In my experience of booking ANYTHING, it’s the company that is offering the service the confirms the booking. That was the first thing he blamed on me. We got to the first winery, they didn’t have space for our size group because there needed to be a reservation. I spoke with the driver and he was shocked. I asked him if this was going to be our experience the entire day, and he said that he would set up some other wine tastings for us. John then called me and told me that I should have scheduled the wine tastings in advance. (The second thing he blamed on me). Mind you, on his website it mentions that they organize individual wine tours. Nowhere in his emails did he mention that I would need to be the one to make reservations ahead of time, otherwise I would have. I have been wine tasting twice before in Sonoma and I never had to organize the entire trip beforehand. We weren’t able to get into the wineries we requested, but Keith, our driver and John’s son, took us to a few wineries that we enjoyed. Additionally, the van is old and dated, you can only listen to the radio. The other vans I have done wine tasting in had options to play your own music. After the tour, I sent John an email asking for a discount on the services because I believe, we didn’t receive the services we paid for. He sent me the RUDEST and most unprofessional email in return. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. John’s lack of customer service skills and his unprofessional email was appalling. I am also a small business owner and thrive on returning customers and referrals, clearly, that’s not part of his business. This company feels shady and gross."
