It is time that Denver estate sale companies are held accountable for the way they conduct themselves. My reviews will be honest and from the perspective of a re-selling buyer. As a re-seller I can say that BTS is probably the worst estate sales you can possibly attend. Overpriced to death and plenty of attitude. They will search your bag after you have emptied it and paid. The people in the house, especially the big fat one, are ill-tempered and annoying. They follow you around to make sure you aren't stealing and are just generally unhelpful and aggravating. Apparently from the other reviews their clients don't care for them either. I can't find one redeeming quality. Hopefully they are already out of business or are about to be. Zero stars if possible.

I used BTS for my estate sale in April. My experience was virtually identical to Gee Kay’s experience. However, I would add several other comments. The first is Pete, the owner, is quite good at BSing. He’ll tell you exactly what you want to hear when he’s making his sales pitch but then go off and refuse to even listen to any suggestions or answer any of your questions. I had approx. 50 almost new Harley Davidson collared shirts each costing a minimum of $65 or more depending on the extent of embroidery. He priced them at $6-$8. When I questioned the price he got extremely defensive and told me he was the expert not me and they wouldn’t sell for any more. Well, every one was sold by the end of the first day. What bothered me most was not the price but his arrogance in stating he knew what H-D clothing sold for when obviously he didn’t. Same thing happened with my work suits ranging in price new from $600 to $1400 for the Armani’s). He priced the Armani’s the same as the inexpensive su...

There are other companies in Denver that are much better. They are extremely over-priced, and you will get no accounting of anything sold so you have to trust them on the pricing and money collected. (so... we got almost nothing other than a trashed house as a result of this "trust") Neighbors said that they were standing outside smoking for half the sale, would not negotiate, did not want to answer any questions, overpriced anything that they did not want to deal with, and sold the nice pieces for almost nothing. They demand that owners not show up for the sale, and now I can understand why. Now we have no way of disputing the amount. The place was left a total mess and items were thrown on the floor, walked on, and destroyed. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Same thing happened with my work suits ranging in price new from $ to $ for the Armani’s). He priced the Armani’s the same as the inexpensive suits, $ per suit. And again, they were all sold by the end of the first day. Then he did the opposite on many kitchen items and furniture. He priced them for more than they cost new. I caution you not to use this company. Not only did he not know the true value of what he was selling and way under priced items as if it were a garage sale but he wouldn’t listen to a word I had to say. Save yourself the aggravation and don’t even interview this guy. He was an extremely unpleasant and arrogant person to deal with."
