I've been looking for Branston Pickle for a while, they had it on the shelf. A mixture of a Windsor Castle souvenir shop with a good collection of hard to find grocery items.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Amazing selection of cool and unique items and staff is always super helpful and friendly. We moved to the Austin area a few years ago and they do not have a place like this. Thankfully I was able to place an order online and have it shipped. I must say that whoever packaged my shipment did an absolutely amazing job because each item was individually wrapped in bubble wrap. Thank you!

I have patronized this store a couple of times and always find their store stocked with unique gifts and novelties from, and representative of, the UK. The store is a fabulous place just to browse a while! It is, however, a bit crowded and hard to navigate even when you are careful and on your own two feet. If I had my mother with me in her wheelchair, it would not have been possible to move her around the store. It is not handicapped accessible for people like her. On my latest visit, a family with children came into the store and the parents were constantly trying to keep their children from damaging the merchandise. There is so much that can be broken! So beware if you have children and want to enter this store with them. I have lowered my rating of this store for one reason in particular. The 2022 calendar year represents the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. She is the longest-reigning monarch in British history. I went to the store to find an anniversary coron...

Fabulous store! I visited here for the first time to buy my dad a Christmas present as he has recently gotten into drinking British teas. The selection here is amazing (almost everything is imported from the UK) and the staff are all so helpful and friendly. I had a lot of fun browsing around this shop and found several things that my dad truly enjoyed opening on Christmas Day and he is not easy to buy for. I will be back!

Friendly and courteous staff, and everything your Anglophile heart desires. They were very welcoming to my toddler while he explored their children’s section. Such a pleasant shop!

So beware if you have children and want to enter this store with them. I have lowered my rating of this store for one reason in particular. The calendar year represents the th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. She is the longest-reigning monarch in British history. I went to the store to find an anniversary coronation cup for my brother who has an original coronation cup and each anniversary cup since. The Platinum Jubilee is going to be a festive event! I asked store personnel if they had a Platinum Jubilee coronation cup and they had no idea what I was talking about! I had to explain to them what I meant by Platinum Jubilee! Now, I do not profess to be a master of British history, but I was completely taken by surprise that no one in that specialty store could help me! After I explained, I asked if they had a plan to receive any items in stock or a vendor where they could special order one. Again, they were clueless! So I left the store with my name and phone number on a list for follow-up with no contact since then. That was about two months ago. It is a moot point now. I took matters into my own hands after leaving British Isles so frustrated and ordered the Platinum Jubilee anniversary cup directly from Harrods in London and received it within three days! This store is a novelty in Houston and one-of-a-kind. It is worth the visit. If you are looking to them to be experts in things British, however, you may be disappointed."
