"This company is horrible. Do not rent any of the apartments they manage! The apartment I rented looked like a slum! They showed me the model which was nice but the actual apartment was disgusting. Never spent a single night. Fought for 6 weeks they finally let me out of my lease and said they would refund me. Fought another month to get my refund and when I did I could not cash the check! I have reported them to the BBB and the States Attorney Generals office. The bank verified that it was a bad check! I am going to there office and if they still do not give me my money I am going to be suing them. The attorney I spoke with said I will win easily. Going to coat them more than what they owe me. I’m going to make sure this company gets what they deserve!"

"I toured Lumina building with Pricilla and selected an apartment. After that it took several emails to ever get a hold of her, even to send my lease. I had since received a generic community email saying some balconies would be worked on some would be inaccessible for over a month. I emailed asking if the apartment I moved in would be affected. Again several emails follow-up laters, Pricilla finally responded saying it would but they could offer me a 2 bed for the same price. She then 4 days later redacted that offer saying they could offer me the 2 bed for more money and that I would have to move when the balcony in the initial apartment was repaired. SO essentially paying more and moving twice! She told me she could cancel my lease and send me by holding deposit back to which I agreed, even though I only had a week to find a new place! She was then fired and I have been in contact with Jeremy Ortega who claims he had a check sent. I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED MY HOLD DEPOSIT. It has been over 2 months! I can't get a hold of anyone. There is no direct number to call. No emails are answered. The lack of professionalism is astounding! I have opened a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT MOVE TO ANY OF THEIR BUILDINGS!!!"

"I've been trying to call for over 2 months because of a terrible situation their company ivy crossing has put me in. They have refused to get back to me. They are horrible."

"This situation occurred with Ivy Crossing apartments.... run and managed by BLDG Office staff should be fired, beyond unprofessional and don't want to do their job they are being PAID for. I applied well over a month ago and was advised the turn around time on applications is about hours So I waited but heard nothing so I called a few days into the process and was advise that the leasing manager was currently behind so to give it a few more days.... after waiting days and calling every few days to get an answer and still nothing I asked my husband to call and see if he could get a different outcome, the girl that answered the phone when he called laughed at him and hung up on him!!!!  All simply bc he didn't know his own email since I normally handle all of the application and financial side of things. That left a horrible taste in my mouth and this was the final straw so I asked yo cancel my application and get refunded the deposit I paid. After being hung up on twice just trying to cancel my application (mind you I was being super nice still) I was advised it would be days to get my money back but here it is like 6 weeks later and still nothing....they will not answer calls in the office any longer you can only get ahold of an answering service to leave a message that NEVER gets returned. DO NOT APPLY HERE THEY ARE ABSOLUTE SHIT OF A COMPANY!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!! I JUST WANT MY DEPOSIT BACK!!!!!!"

"For months, I have been attempting to get in touch with BLDG about my neighbors regularly standing outside of my apartment talking about killing me. They'll bang on the doors, punch things, and sit in front of my door to block access in and out of my own home. Nothing from them. I have had to move because I was being harrassed. BLDG does not take any sort of accountability for their properties, their repairs, or their behaviors."
