"All you could ever want, and everything you didn’t even know you needed! You can’t go wrong here, every nurse, every midwife and the even those at the front desk are kind, compassionate, and empower each woman to have her own unique birthing experience. Everything is new and impeccably clean and tidy. Peace of mind knowing you are already on a hospital campus. The biggest pro for me, besides the people, was that at my 5am (already in labor) arrival, I rode the elevator right up, and promptly walked myself and my husband to my room I had already pre selected. Being in space I was already comfortable in, with people I knew, and who respected me, made all of the difference. I’ve highly recommended to friends, colleagues and even strangers. Would not birth my children anywhere else!"

"Updated Aug to include a small postpartum nightmare: The cons: this is my second birth with the birth center. I'm a little irritated that they had us repeat some classes. Not only did we not learn anything new, we live almost an hour away and have a toddler with no family around, so we had to find a babysitter. I just feel that our time was not considered. I can understand requiring those classes for second time parents in general, but not for parents that have already been through the works at the birth center. My second beef with them is they only answer the phone about half the time. There's always a nurse on call if you have an urgent question which is great, but sometimes we just need a general question answered. My 3rd issue is they didn't let My insurance, Kaiser, know that I had a child. I was scheduled for an induction as I was late with my baby. That's not even the worst part, I missed my first week in home appointment with Kaiser because I assumed they had let my insurance know I had a baby. I now have to go downtown an hour away for a 2-hour appointment with a toddler and a 3-week-old. Last time everything was streamlined in Kaiser contacted me. I did not have to worry. This has been a postpartum nightmare that did not happen the first time with Kaiser and the birth center. I called the birth center to tell them that something went wrong between them and the insurance. They said someone would call me back and address what happened. No one has called me back. Ownership is a little lacking in this facility. Granted I could have double checked that everything was set up correctly after I gave birth, but what the heck, how miserable a postpartum experience. I'm definitely considering another option if we have a third. The pros: every employee here is just lovely. The nurses and midwives are all fantastic. I've always felt supported, no questions ever wrong, any resources you might need they have. I did centering during my first pregnancy and it was a lot fun! I got to meet midwives and parents with due dates around our due date while bonding with my partner and learning. I was an emergency hospital transfer late into labor ( fully dilated ) and I was supported through the whole process by the birth center and fortunate enough to have the nurse and midwife that were working with me at the time come with me to the hospital until I gave birth. My transfer was seamless and without stress besides obviously being cm dilated 😅. The birth center is beautiful, with so many wonder amenities to make you feel at home. I truly love it there and would go back again for a third child at this point, though I might fight them on doing those classes a third time haha."

"I gave birth to my second baby (they weren't open yet when I delivered my first) in February at the Birth Center. Although I had a wonderful experience at St. Joe's for my first, my second was even more wonderful! The knowledgeable staff made us feel completely comfortable and really listened to my needs. They provided the perfect amount of coaching and support. They gave us all the time we needed after birth to bond with baby. We never felt rushed at all. The rooms were beautiful and even though we got our 3rd choice of room (our first 2 choices were used in the last hours), it was extremely nice and comfortable. I'm done having babies, but if I were to have another I would definitely be back to Birth Center of Denver!"

"I cannot say enough good things about the Birth Center of Denver. I had my son in October of and my husband and I were apart of some of the first group of parents to give birth here. The the staff were kind, caring, compassionate and fun to be around. We also built so many wonderful relationships through our birth center group appointments. The facility is a dream! There are several spa like rooms with different themes all centered around some of Colorado's best places. As a Colorado native it was wonderful to be submerged in my "City Park" room. It truly felt like home. On the day of my son's birth I felt as relaxed as one could feel (after having contractions for multiple days) and the staff took excellent care of me and my family. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience than the one I had. Truly so blessed I was able to give birth here."

"Absolutely incredible staff and philosophy. I felt so much care and support. I labored twice at Birth Center of Denver. With my first there were medical issues that I had to transfer to St Joe's, but I had my second baby in a beautiful water birth. Even with my first, it was such a powerful experience. The team cared holistically about me from prenatal care to labor, breastfeeding support and follow up visits."
