Here are some reviews from our users.
"We utilize this service for our company. They are, on a consistent basis, not collecting all the appropriate information, or inputting the wrong information. They often call the wrong person on call (I monitor who is in there system daily) or do not text the information within a reasonable time. It is nice to have such a service, but it would be better if they were less apt to mistakes."
"If I could leave zero stars, I would. This answering service was hired by the funeral home who handled my fathers funeral. I tried to call the funeral home 3 separate times over a 4 week period. NONE of my messages were sent through. Because of this, the day of my fathers service, none of the arrangements had been made. Therefore, my family was getting ready to show up for an honors service where nothing had been organized. The funeral home was wonderful though and able to put together a beautiful service with minutes notice. Also, the last representative I spoke with at ASD was named Emily, and she hung up on me. This answering service is terrible and highly advise against using them if your customer satisfaction is a priority."
"I've been working at ASD for almost 2 years now. It's the best place I've ever worked. I feel included and valued by every level of the company. They really try to foster a family feeling for all of their workers and I have always felt that I am a welcomed and loved member of the ASD family"
"Absolutely horrible company. I was an employee of this company for one year's time. During that year, I gave the company 3 referrals, all who were hired on the spot and brought onto the "team". I received about HALF of my promised "referral money", and even so, I didn't complain. I was absent maybe 2 or 3 times during the entire course of the year, and I was rarely late. They have a "policy" (although, really, it's management's carefully concocted "trap" to over work their employees) where you get a "verbal warning" after you've missed about 3 days of work. Management's next move, is to give you the ever illegal "written warning", where, at that point, you need to surrender your home computer, and come into the office to work (it is a work from home company for the most part), OR, pay the company THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS, for them to... Forget about it??? I'm am still unclear about those terms. During my last month at ASD, I was hospitalized for 3 days, over a weekend (although I did miss ONE shift of work as well) for my seizure disorder, because I had two seizures in about a day time frame. One of the managers, Sharon (one of the only kind and good people who work there), contacted my husband, my emergency contact, and went above and beyond to stress the point to him to have me call the office ONLY, once I was feeling better. I got out of the hospital Monday evening, and called Sharon immediately after my discharge. The call went right to voicemail, so I left her a message. The following morning, Tuesday-- was the start to my work week, and I woke up 2 hours early to once again, try and contact management just to check in. And again, Sharon's phone went straight to voicemail. So I left her yet another message. Now minutes away from the start of my shift, I called the ASD office line and asked to speak to a different manager. I was transferred to Linda, a real rotten, horribly mean and rude woman with the heart comparable to that of the devil. She displayed zero compassion or care for my health or my well-being. Immediately, once connected to my line, she simply stated that I had terminated my employment at the company because I did not contact management. Now, because this was my entire livelihood at stake, I immediately started crying and pleading with her, explaining that I certainly did try to contact management, only after I felt better and was discharged from the hospital, which were Sharon's specific instructions to my husband. I will never forget the words that she said next. She combated with, "I do not care WHAT happened with Sharon, or WHAT Sharon instructed your husband to tell you to do. What I am saying to you now, is that you have terminated your employment, here at ASD." Those words still ring in my ear and my heart to this day. So, in review, ASD is a company that does not pay their employees the bonuses that they PROMISE to them, they overwork their employees with unrealistic attendance expectations, and they allow one manager to say one thing, and another manager (of the same caliber), to completely over-ride and dismiss those exact instructions, in order to TERMINATE the employment of their dedicated workers. I am truly and deeply disgusted by this entire company. The sole fact that they can rip apart a truly committed employee's livelihood, will forever remain at the forefront of my mind when I think of my time at ASD. DO NOT engage with this company, for employment "opportunities" OR for business reasons. They will screw you over, with illegal standards, EVERY time."
"I’ve been working at ASD just shy of 3 years and feel valued. Standards are set high for employees, as to make us strive to provide the best possible service to our clients, the families that they serve and their business affiliates. Supervisors and managers pay attention to our day to day work and are constantly providing advice, training and operational and technical updates to help staff with efficiency. We are shown appreciation with opportunities to give back to the community, with nice tokens of thanks and acknowledgement about challenging work days, especially through the COVID Pandemic. I’m a happy part of the ASD team."
