"A disappointing and disturbing experience at this facility. I moved recently to the Indianapolis-area. I made an appointment online to establish primary care with an Ascension Medical physician based in Zionsville. The appointment is in 5 weeks, which means my regular prescription will run out before my appointment. I called Ascension to ask about getting an earlier appointment. The woman I spoke with said there were no earlier appointments, but suggested I go to an Ascension walk-in clinic to get my prescription refill; she gave me the address of the walk-in clinic closest to me. I booked an appointment online. The receptionist called me an hour before my appointment to say that Ascension cannot renew prescriptions, it must done through a primary provider. I went to the clinic at my scheduled appointment time anyway to explain that I DO have an appointment with a primary provider WITH ASCENSION, to establish care, and I was told by Ascension to come to an Ascension walk-in clinic. The receptionist said I should have called the Primary Care Doctor's office, not the Ascension switchboard --- I thought I had. She suggested I call the office on Monday to get an 'emergency' prescription refill. This experience demonstrates all that is wrong with healthcare, and the labyrinth that people must go through to receive even routine medical care. There is considerable money in the 'business' of healthcare, yet there are many barriers for the average person to attain quality, caring care."
"Receptionist was so kind. Doctor and nurses are rude and dismissive. Didn’t even listen to my concerns. Said it was not urgent enough! How is breathing not urgent."
"No one in there, still waited over an hour to be seen. The person behind the desk messed up all my insurance info, so left me to figure out a bill I should not be paying for. Even when called back to the room, waited another hour to be seen. This place is a joke."
"If it would let ppl rate 0 stars I would rate 0. The NP who saw my gf this morning was very RUDE, and didn’t even do anything to find out what’s wrong with the patient, she just said to take Tylenol lol . Will be filing a complaint with the correct department and the state. I won’t say names but the NP is not qualified as far as I could tell. Maybe more training on what she is there for and on how to treat and talk to people with respect."
"I would give a ZERO if I could...but had to choose one star...The NP who saw my brother was awful. Very rude - gave no information...failed to take blood work...the next day after the visit he spiked a temp of . I would NOT recommend this place. Go to Community Health Network.....they are far more efficient and the staff isn't nearly as burned out."
