While visiting with our daughter and grandson here in Louisville, we wanted to help our grandson with his library summer pass and this was a location on the pass that was free. WOW what am amazing awesome place. We had a guided tour and the young lady that took us through the factory was so knowledgeable and very pleasant with a calm pleasant speaking tone. And very patience with questions from my 11 year old grandson. Who was so interesting and engaged. If you have a chance and are looking for an interesting educational place for the whole family you really need to go and take a tour. Small gift shop. Love the t-shirts they have for sale only $10.00 each. I have one from 7 years ago and I still wear it. Just love it.

If you are taking a trip near Louisville, I highly recommend a stop. The staff was professional and friendly, and the museum is decent size (especially for free). Extremely well put together and design to be both kid and adult friendly. The tour was also hands on and designed to be educational for both kids and adults. Great way to teach kids how to be a little more accepting of others and to understand how we can use tools for the vision impaired in out own lives.

It was super fun! They have tours and have a lot of benches to eat lunch or talk with Friends. There is also a lot of cool facts you can learn by walking around the bench area and park. I like to walk around this place because I love walking around my neighborhood.

I have made purchases through APH in the past without problem. In attempting to purchase an electronic textbook, I emailed and called on 3 separate occasions without a response. The response was finally received after 3 weeks and I place the order over the phone and was told the electronic textbook would appear in my email the following day. It has been 5 days and it still has not arrived creating problems for the class's instructor. After considerable frustration, I reached Colin who had the electronic book in my email inbox within 10 minutes. Thanks Colin!
